I bought a 4.2 V8 engine from a S8 D2 about half a year ago for 50 euros. It was one of the best purchases of my life, because only the head gaskets were faulty and everything else was in perfect condition. I am currently trying to rebuild it and therefor I have a question - I do not have the ECU of the car, am I able to start the engine with just the ECU or do I require more things? I would really appreciate an answer. Thank you and congrats to that beauty of a car!
